Of course, completing your online application form and submitting it through to us is only the first step in the selection process. If you're wondering what happens next, this section details the different stages that follow, from application phase to receiving a firm job offer.
Don’t feel intimidated by the process. It’s simply designed to make sure that we’re both making the right decision.

1. Online application
Once you've decided to apply for a career with KPMG, you can now apply online . Our graduate recruitment team will review your application and decide whether your individual skills, experience and qualifications match our requirements. We aim to respond to your application as quickly as possible.

2. English Test
If your application is successful you'll be invited to attend the next stage of our selection process. The test will take you around 1 hour and it will take place in KPMG office.

3. Group assessment
If you’re successful at the English test, we'll invite you back into our offices for the next stage of our selection process - group assessment. As teamwork is such an integral part of KPMG, this is will be an opportunity for us to assess how well you work in a group situation.

4. Final stage - face to face interview
Your interviewers will usually be a partner or a director from the division you’ve expressed a preference for together with a HR professional. They will have been through our recruitment process, so they’ll remember what it's like being a candidate!

Your interviewer will ask you questions about your life, your time at school and/or university, your extra-curricular activities and any work experience you’ve gained. This interview will last around 30-40 minutes.

Throughout the final stage of our process there’ll be plenty of opportunities to meet some of our staff, and also to take a tour of our offices. Once again, we aim to communicate the result of this stage of our selection process as quickly as possible.

5. Our offer
If you're successful at the final stage of our process then we'll give you a written offer of employment into our Graduate Programme. If you have any questions about our offer then we encourage you to talk to our graduate recruitment team.
